This is an original design of the the three Norns or Nornir of Norse Mythology. They are , from the left: Urd, the Norn of the past symbolized by the rune Hagalaz (forces outside of control) , Verdandi the Norn of the present symbolized by Jera the rune of cycle and harvest) , and Skuld the Norn of the future symbolized by Perdhro (the rune of mystery and the hidden) They surround the mysterious Web of Wyrd the symbol of fate. This is burned onto a pine plaque (the art of pyrography) and stained with wood tones.
