About basswood...

I decided to look up basswood (what I did the wood-burning a couple posts back on) at Wikipedia: I was pleasantly surprised by the connection to Freyja, though her being "the wife of Wodan" is debatable, it's best explained on the the entry on Freyja or rather here on the page about Frigg.
