Sif

Click here to view it at deviantART.
2006 Ink drawing with watercolor, gold paint and gold ink on bristol board.
A portrait of the Norse Goddess Sif, wife of Thor. When I was drawing this one, I was'nt originally going to color it, but seeing I had some gold ink and some extra gold craft paint lying around, I decided to put them to use.

New Art!!

Some art I've finally gotten around to scanning today, these were all done earlier this summer.

First: a Xena ink drawing I'll probably color with the GIMP

Tribal-inspired design with the rune Algiz, Black pen and blendable colored pencil.

Red Wolf Portrait...For more information click here for Wikipedia's page on the red wolf!!

Click the picture link below for Wolf Howl Animal Preserve. Great site!!

I'm currently working on some more Norse stuff, another Valkyrie, Goddesses Sif and Idun, and also a self-portrait I'll be using in a new design for this blog and my Myspace page. Howl at ya later!!

"Duet"

2006 Black pen and blended colored pencil on smooth Bristol.

"Forest Spirit"

2006 Ballpoint Pen Drawing.

*note*I've removed the colored version of this one cause I just don't care for it, mainly the background I added, I don't know it just looks yucky and there's just too much going on....yes I'm my own worst critic. I'm BRUTAL. You can still kind of see it in my heading logo for the blogs, though I might change that too. Anyway I still feel the drawing itself is great and I'm proud of it, and people like it, my sister's hubby's niece's hubby said it would make a cool tattoo (I get that kind of comment a lot or I should go into tattooing (!) I don't know about that.....) Anyway, back to the drawing , you can also view it here at my ArtWanted.com page, it's also at deviantART in the Scraps section. I'll probably try recoloring it, just give it a little wash of color and shadow cause thats all it needs really. I do have a couple projects on my desktop that have to be finished first. Howl at ya later!!

Freya

2006. Pen drawing colored in the GIMP , runes and writing added. Posting this one since it's Friday and Friday is named after her (though some say it's after her twin brother Freyr or Frigga, Odin's wife) I've made her eyes the way they are to make her look more like a goddess, since I get a few people who think they are just regular people if they see me drawing from photos I use for models. Of course I dress them different and they have weapons and magical things..... Also I think it looks cooler Let me know if I should make prints available for sale, since I'm looking at a few options to do that (NOT Cafepress by the way) Howl at ya later!!
